Jennifer Heegaard was born in Bogota, Colombia. She attended Rollins College for 2 years in Orlando, Florida and graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Political Science and Latin American/Caribbean Relations. Her true passion was to study Law, however destiny had different plans for her. By chance, she began her career in the Fashion and Public Relations industry at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bal Harbour. After working retail on the floor, she was promoted and became the Assistant Public Relations Director for the store and then the Director of Marketing. In 2007, she decided to leave Saks Fifth Avenue, Bal Harbour to establish a Public Relations and Fashion firm, with a partner. After 2 years, she knew it was time to embark on her own journey and founded JEJE Consulting.




Due to JEJE Consulting’s Public Relations efforts, the UNCHR (The United Nations High

Commissioner for Refugees) campaign “PONTE EN LOS ZAPATOS DE UN REFUGIADO,”

was awarded 2 prestigious international awards:

  •               SOL DE BRONZE AWARD- Iberoamerican Publicity Festival/March 2012

  •               GOLD AWARD - Festival Ojo de Iberoamérica/November 2012.


  • Awarded one of “Miami’s Top Real Women in Fashion” by renowned Designer, Viviana Gabeiras;

  • The Colombian Magazine “Revista Actual” named Jennifer as being one of the “TOP 10 Colombian Women” living in Miami;

  • LifestyleMiami.com selected JEJE Consulting as the top Public Relations firm in Miami;

  • Key Biscayne Magazine featured a profile on Jennifer for her involvement with Dress for Success Miami

  • Latino Leaders Magazine selected her as one of “2014 rising executive Latinos Miami.”;
